TCW - Sabillasville, MD: I have always loved large brook trout and, over the years, have pursued them from Maine to Labrador. The trout at the Caddis Shack Ponds are a larger than any I have ever caught in Maine and nearly as large as those in Labrador. It is a lot closer, equally beautiful, and a lot less expensive than hiring a bush plane to fly you to Minipi!

I also value my membership in Conewago Flyfishermen. I have had marvelous fishing on the stream, and my wife recently caught and released the most beautiful 18" brown I have ever seen.

If you are looking for total serenity, a beautiful locale and sheer fishing excitement catching monster trout, well this is it, all rolled into one great place. I've had the pleasure of fishing Caddis Shack several times over the past year, and have found it to be premier trout fishing at its best. In order to catch and release the size trout you'll find at Caddis Shack, you would have to go far north for those big brookies, and travel west for huge rainbows and browns.

If you enjoy tranquil fishing in a gorgeous setting, then you need to book a day at Caddis Shack!
